Advice to Nine Emperor Gods Devotees

1) Devotees are to remain celibate during the Nine Emperor Gods Festival, including the eve of the festival

2) Female devotees who are menstruating are advised to keep away from praying to the Nine Emperor Gods

3) Women in confinement and immediate family members are advised to stay away from praying to the Nine Emperor Gods

4) Mourners are also advised not to pray to the Nine Emperor Gods

For disciples of Nine Emperor Gods, strict vegetarian diet is compulsory during the entire nine-day festival.
